In the areas of Karelia for children conduct road safety lessons
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Olonets district held a preventive meeting with pupils of the local kindergarten

Employees of the traffic police of the Olonets district held a preventive meeting with pupils of the local kindergarten. The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen the children’s skills of safe behavior on the roads.
In a playful and accessible form, the inspectors reminded the children of the key rules of the road. Preschoolers repeated how to correctly and safely cross the roadway, which traffic lights allow movement, and which call to stop. The police paid special attention to the rules of conduct next to the road - they explained to the children why it is so important to hold the adult hand tightly. Also, the guards reminded of the need to always fasten in a special child car seat during trips in the car.
The real delight of the young participants of the meeting was caused by the demonstration of a real patrol car. The traffic police officers showed the children how the special car is built from the inside, told them what the flashing beacons and a sound siren are for, and also explained what important and responsible work road inspectors perform daily.
And in Pudozh, there was a “walking bus” for the youngest road users.
In Pudozh, the pupils of the kindergarten "Miner" became participants in the action "Walking bus". The event is aimed at working out a safe route before the pedestrian crossing.
During the practical walk, the children repeated the meanings of road signs that occur on their way, and under the guidance of adults, they fixed the skill of correctly crossing the roadway: with a stop, eye contact with the driver and conviction of complete safety.
