In the area of Kalmykia completed the reconstruction of the complex of Buddhist stupas

In the Sarpinsky district of Kalmykia, in the village of Arshan-Zelmen, after the completion of reconstruction, a complex of Buddhist stupas was opened. Monuments are dedicated to the Ik-Hurl family, its monks and fellow priests.

This genus is one of the most famous and numerous in the Maloderbetovsky ulus. Over the years, its representatives have contributed to the maintenance of the spiritual and economic foundations of the community, as well as to the transfer of traditional values.

The religious object is located in the Arshan-Zelmen tract. The choice of the place is connected with the historical event of 1735, when the Kalmyk Khan Donduk-Ombo took the oath of allegiance to Russia and his people here.
