Approbation of the school television project begins in Russian schools. At breaks, children will be shown short videos to help switch after class and relax with benefit, according to Rosobrnadzor.
Schools of 15 pilot regions will be the first to connect: Mordovia, Moscow, Kaliningrad, Voronezh, Tula, Lipetsk, Tambov, Belgorod, Vladimir, Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Ulyanovsk, Kaluga, Orenburg and Smolensk regions. The full launch is scheduled for October 15.
More than 1,500 schools in the pilot regions already have the necessary infrastructure. By the end of the year, the project will be launched in at least 30 regions, where about 6.5 thousand schools have such an opportunity.
The videos will last up to a minute, without sound and with a minimum of text - marking 6+. On the air - stories about security, science, culture, sports, historical memory, as well as announcements of competitions and educational opportunities. Regional and school content will be added later. According to the results of the pilot, a single school television is planned to be introduced in all schools of the country from 2027.
