In the Russian region checked compliance with migration legislation

In the Zaporozhye region, law enforcement officers and law enforcement agencies revealed more than 90 violations of migration legislation. This was reported in the regional GU MIA of Russia.

We are talking about the second stage of the operation “Illegal-2026” under the conditional name “Illegal Cordon”. More than 100 police officers together with employees of the FSB, military police, SU IC of Russia in the Zaporizhzhzhya region and with the power support of Regardie checked large commercial and construction facilities, as well as places of compact residence of foreign citizens.

According to the agency, more than 300 verification activities were carried out. According to their results, more than 90 administrative offenses in the field of migration legislation were identified. In particular, in more than 67 cases, violations of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation and the regime of stay were established, in more than 20 - violations of the rules for attracting foreign citizens to work. Five violations of immigration rules and one fact of providing false information were also revealed.

In addition, 16 facts with signs of crimes in the field of migration were registered: organization of illegal migration, fictitious registration at the place of residence, fictitious registration of foreign citizens for migration registration, as well as the use of a deliberately forged official document.

Against 12 foreigners, decisions were made on administrative expulsion, including by force, concluded in the department.
