In Rostov, considered the possibility of increasing parking fees to 100 rubles

A meeting was held in Rostov-on-Don on improving public transport in the city center. At the meeting, complaints from drivers were also discussed. Experts noted that on weekends, cars are left on allocated places for them, which creates obstacles for the movement of buses and trolleybuses.

Director of the Department of Highways Denis Vodopyanov stressed the importance of reviewing the conditions of paid parking. One of the proposed solutions was to increase the cost of an hour of parking from 35 to 100 rubles.

“We recommend raising the parking rate within the paid space to the level required by federal and regional regulations.” That's about 100 rubles an hour. In addition, taking into account the problems reported by the carriers, we propose to extend the payment for parking on weekends, Vodopyanov said.

Deputy head of transport Vladimir Ivanov did not support this initiative, considering it excessive.

Some changes have already affected parking conditions. For example, from April 1, 2026 increased the fine for unpaid parking from 1.5 to 3 thousand rubles.
