In Ryazan continues the court on the theft of goods from the marketplace for 3.3 million rubles

In the Moscow District Court of Ryazan, a regular hearing was held on a criminal case against a 20-year-old local resident accused of fraud on an especially large scale. This was reported in the press service of the department.

According to the investigation, the accused developed a scheme for theft of goods. To implement the plan, he created fictitious personal accounts on behalf of buyers and couriers in the mobile application of the marketplace. The young man ordered the goods, and through the profile of the courier made out its delivery.

To receive parcels at the points of delivery, the attacker attracted real couriers of various delivery services who were not aware of his criminal intentions. After the courier took the goods and handed them over to the accused, he canceled the order in the application.

As a result of these actions, the Internet site suffered property damage in the amount of 3,344,959 rubles. The next court hearing in the case is scheduled for October 15, 2026.
