In the Ryazan CSTO rescued a four-year-old girl who swallowed 50 cents

In the Ryazan Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, doctors helped a four-year-old girl who swallowed a 50 cent coin at home, the size of which is comparable to a two-ruble one. This was reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of health.

During the examination, it turned out that the coin had already hit the stomach and, having a large size, could not leave the body on its own. It was also impossible to leave it inside because of the risk of pressure sores on the mucosa.

The girl was hospitalized and with the help of a gastroscope extracted a coin from the stomach without surgery.

The patient is currently feeling well and is preparing to be discharged.
