In the sanatorium “Green Bor” started the Spartakiad with the participation of employees of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti”

The second stage of the XII Spartakiad among the employees of the Minsk City Executive Committee, district administrations, the media and deputies started on September 18 in the sanatorium "Green Bor". Details - in the material of the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

On the first competitive day, the team of the Minsk-Novosti agency performed in three disciplines: swimming, rowing simulator and volleyball.

First, the swimming relay. Each team has two men and two women. There was a noise in the pool: groups of fans actively cheered for their own. Ours stopped a step from the pedestal, taking fourth place.

- They were not trained, each trained individually. But the support was such that we gave our best and tried very hard to show the best result. In the future, we will try to enter the prize three, said Kristina Kovalevich from the team of the Minsk-Novosti agency.

In parallel with swimming, races on the Concept2 rowing simulator began. Participants were provided with two training and two competition machines, a distance of 200 meters. Elizaveta Mikhno before the start held a small running warm-up and tried the device, and then together with a teammate went to the distance.

- It went well, but it seems that I could faster than a second by three: sometimes slipped off the simulator.

The day ended with volleyball. In the first game, the teams of the Minsk-Novosti agency and the Soviet district met.

In the first game, the Soviet district from the very beginning increased the advantage, but after the score of 8: 0, our team joined and confidently won. The second turned out to be no less exciting: the gap in the score was small, and towards the end the number of timeouts increased noticeably.

- We are very happy that we are here, although it seems to be a bit of a fuss – this is our tradition. But we were good at supporting each other and probably more technical, always trying to play the ball in three touches. At the end of the second game, there was a little fuss again, but in the end everything is super. Charged, happy to win, we will try and tomorrow, – noted in the volleyball team from the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

After the competition, the participants were waiting for dinner in the dining room of the House of Culture, and then a cultural and entertainment program with a disco. Abortion was announced at 23:15.

The Spartakiad will continue on September 19. The program includes morning warm-up, grand opening, laser-run 4×400 m, tug-of-war, volleyball, city sports, bicycle tourism technique, archery, table tennis, firing an electronic pistol among managers and long jump from the spot.
