In Saratov, small demand for renting daily housing
Saratov did not fall into the thirty most popular cities in Russia for daily rental housing in the autumn of 2026
Saratov did not fall into the thirty most popular cities in Russia for daily rental housing in the fall of 2026. This conclusion was reached by analysts of the platform “Qian”, who studied the statistics of bookings in the country. Our region lost even to some neighboring regions in this indicator, remaining in the shadow of market leaders.
Experts noted that the 30 largest destinations account for 76% of all autumn orders in Russia. The undisputed leaders were cities with millions. Moscow and St. Petersburg received the lion’s share of attention – 30% and 14%, respectively. The group of leaders also included Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Tyumen. They go there for both business and tourist purposes.
The second group of popular destinations were the cities of the Moscow region: Lyubertsy, Krasnogorsk, Khimki, Mytishchi, Balashikha and Odintsovo. Guests often choose these locations as a more affordable alternative to living in Moscow.
The third direction is resorts. Here in the leaders of Sochi, Kaliningrad, Zelenogradsk, Kislovodsk and Pyatigorsk. According to analysts, the reason for this is the so-called “velvet season”: when the weather is still warm, there are few tourists and prices become lower due to the lack of hype.
Vladivostok and Irkutsk also enjoy stable demand. The first attracts tourists by the Sea of Japan, the second by the proximity of Lake Baikal.
The average rental period in the country is only 2-3 days. This time is usually enough for personal or business matters. In tourist places, guests stay longer - for 4-6 days. Plan these trips differently. On the resorts, housing is reserved on average a month before arrival. But in the cities for business visits, for example in Rostov-on-Don or suburban settlements, apartments are often rented 3-4 days before arrival.
As for the Saratov region, the region does not yet demonstrate high interest from tenants for daily housing. In neighboring Volgograd and Samara, the share of orders is only 0.7% of the all-Russian volume, and the average duration of stay is three days. Saratov in demand for daily rental housing was in the outsiders.
