Usually, these bats live much further south, and in the middle lane appear only occasionally, so experts jokingly call such flying animals “tourists”.

The found baby weighs only 4.1 grams and is very exhausted. How he got to Serpukhov is unknown - perhaps accidentally arrived with a cargo from the southern regions. Now the animal is waiting for increased nutrition and safe wintering under the supervision of specialists, and in the spring it will be returned to warm lands.

Kulya Nettyr is one of the smallest representatives of bats. The species is common in the south of Russia, in the Crimea and the Caucasus, where it settles next to a person.
