In the Serpukhov apartment collapsed floor

Residents of the building No. 42 on Kalinin Street in Serpukhov are asking the administration to intervene in the situation with a partial collapse of the floor. The incident occurred in one of the apartments on the first floor. The photos sent by the residents show bare pipes, soil and fragments of brick supports.

According to residents, the collapse is associated with a long-standing sewer leak. The drains blurred the base under the floor. The service organization accepts applications, but does not come for repairs. There are also problems on the second floor: in one of the apartments, after a leak of the roof, wallpaper left the walls, although the repair was done recently.

According to the letter of the regional Ministry of housing and communal services of August 2025, the terms of overhaul of the house are distributed as follows: the roof and facade – 2029-2031, engineering networks – 2035-2037, the foundation – 2038-2040.

In a response dated October 28, 2026, the administration reported that the conclusion submitted by the residents does not meet the requirements, so the interdepartmental commission has no reason to consider this set of documents.

Residents have an open question for the coming days: who and when will check the floors in neighboring apartments and fix the leak? Residents are asking the Serpukhov administration and the service organization to report whether the house was examined after the collapse and what measures will be taken before the overhaul.
