In Sevastopol continues vaccination campaign against influenza: vaccination has already made almost 190 thousand people

In Sevastopol, the campaign for vaccination against influenza continues: almost 190,000 people have already been vaccinated. About this in his channel in the messenger “Max” said the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
To date, almost 190,000 people have been vaccinated. In total, by December 1, doctors plan to vaccinate 335 thousand people, more than 73 thousand of them are children.
According to him, doctors remind: vaccination is important to do annually. So the body receives protection from those strains that will circulate in the upcoming epidemic season. Immunity takes time to form protection, so the injection is better done in advance.
Vaccination is especially important for people with an increased risk of getting sick and suffering from the disease - the elderly, children, pregnant women and patients with chronic diseases. It is these groups that are most susceptible to severe complications of influenza.
Vaccination can be done quickly and conveniently - in any clinic of the city and in mobile vaccination points. Traditionally, they are deployed on Nakhimov Square and in shopping centers.
There are also field teams for immunization in teams – at the request of employers. Children are vaccinated in schools and kindergartens.
When visiting the vaccination point, you need to bring your passport and SNILS.
The influenza vaccination campaign started in Sevastopol on September 8, 2026 and will last until December 1, although doctors advised to be vaccinated before November 1. For immunization, vaccines "Sovigripp", "Flu-M", "Grippol Quadrivalent", "Ultrix Quadri" are used.
By mid-October, 408,747 residents, including 108,221 children, were vaccinated in Crimea and Sevastopol. By October 23, the number of vaccinated in the republic exceeded 420,000 people. [Clarify the data: taking into account almost 190 thousand vaccinated in Sevastopol, these figures are not consistent.]
Experts emphasize: vaccination helps to reduce the risk of disease, severe course and the development of complications. It is especially important to vaccinate children, pregnant women, the elderly and patients with chronic diseases in a timely manner.
