In the Seversky district, Yuri Burlachko appreciated rice harvesting and land reclamation

Yuri Burlachko visited the Seversky district on a working trip and saw how rice was being harvested at one of the largest agricultural enterprises. He also discussed the prospects of the reclamation complex and inspected the site under construction, where they plan to use 16 units of special equipment. This was reported in the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory.

Burlachko was accompanied by the chairman of the ZSK Committee for the Development of Agro-Industrial Complex, Food and Consumer Market Sergey Orlenko and the director of the Vozrozhdenie agricultural concern Andrei Kuemzhiev.

The first point of the trip was a visit to the land reclamation site under construction. Speaker ZSK showed and irrigation machine, which is in the process of assembly. It is expected that a total of 16 units of such special equipment will be involved at the site.

In a conversation with the director of the agricultural enterprise, Burlachko noted the importance of land reclamation for the development of the regional agricultural industry and rice growing. He stressed the need to expand the area, maintain infrastructure and preserve forest protection.

The topic of the conversation was the improvement of the regulatory legal framework of the region for the needs of the agro-industrial complex and reclamation complex. Burlachko recalled that in December last year, deputies of the Kuban parliament made amendments to the profile law related to taking into account reclaimed lands.

At the current meliorative station, we talked about subsidizing agricultural production. According to the head of the Legislative Assembly, the current economic situation requires new approaches to support certain areas of the agricultural industry. He also noted that one of the key tasks of the regional authorities remains clear coordination between all interested economic entities.
