In Sheremetyevo, a passenger seized a wardrobe for 22 million

At Sheremetyevo airport, customs officers detained a 28-year-old Russian woman who flew from Istanbul. In her luggage found 36 items of branded clothing and accessories. Among them are three bags of famous brands and two pairs of shoes.

The woman explained that all things are personal and were given to her as a gift. The examination confirmed the authenticity of the products. The total cost of the wardrobe exceeded 22 million rubles, and unpaid customs payments amounted to more than 6 million.

Now the passenger faces up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles. Customs officers remind us of the need to declare expensive goods. The case is ongoing.
