The military parade in honor of the 24th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution was held on November 7, 1941 on Red Square in Moscow. The Day of Military Glory was established by the Federal Law of March 13, 1995 No. 32-FZ "On Days of Military Glory and Memorable Dates of Russia" in memory of this important historical event.

The parade had a special significance for the country: it demonstrated that the capital continues to live and work, and its defenders are ready to defend the freedom of the Motherland. For millions of people, this event became a symbol of resilience, unity and faith in Victory.

On the eve of the Day of Military Glory, the advisers of the directors for education held events for students of schools and institutions of SPO.

The collective creative work “Parade of 1941: Animated History” was held for younger schoolchildren. The guys were divided into groups, each of which created separate elements of the parade layout, then combined all the details into a common panorama, recreating the historical event in miniature.

Within the framework of the exhibition-exposition “Parade of 1941”, the counsellors of the directors for education, together with students and representatives of the parent community, worked with historical sources, collected photos and prepared quotations from eyewitness memoirs. On the basis of these materials in educational organizations, participants designed an exhibition, visitors of which were able to learn more about the events of November 1941.

For schoolchildren and students, Navigators of Childhood also organized a film lecture "Chronicle of Courage". The participants watched the documentary “Parade of 1941 on Red Square”, after which they discussed what they saw, shared their impressions and talked about the importance of the parade on November 7, 1941 to maintain the morale of the Soviet people in the difficult days of the Great Patriotic War.
