School No. 19 Cherepovets will additionally repair the foyer and porch

In Cherepovets, the overhaul of school No. 19 on 5 Suvorov Street continues. The progress of work on the site was checked by the head of the city Andrei Nakroshaev.

The plans are to put in order the second and third floors, classes and recreation areas, a food block and a gym. Furniture and equipment will also be purchased. However, during the inspection, it turned out that repairs are also required on the first floor.

“We went through the first floor, which was not originally included in the project, but there it is necessary to repair the porch, foyer and common areas. Even on the ground floor we equip a special bathroom for people with disabilities, the project did not provide for it. On September 1, 2027, the school will open for students, said the head of the city Andrey Nakroshaev.

The school was built in 1964. About 800 people study here. The children were temporarily transferred to schools No. 7, 28 and 34, as well as to kindergarten No. 24.
