Smolensk will host an online conference on early care for children from 0 to 3 years

On November 17, at 15:00, an online conference will be held for parents of children from birth to 3 years. The organizers of the event are the Regional Branch of VORDI of the Smolensk Region together with SOGBI “Cherry Center”.

The meeting will focus on early assistance: experts will tell you what it is, who is entitled to such support and how to get it as part of a pilot project being implemented in Smolensk.

Programme of the conference:

O. A. Babich (OGBUZ “DKB”) will talk about a pilot project to identify neurodevelopmental disorders.

N.A. Mashurova (Cherry Center) will explain family routing: from identifying the characteristics of the child to implementing an individual assistance program.

M.A. Ivanova and I.A. Dimankova (kindergarten No. 3 in Yartsev) will share methods of visual support for speech therapy with young children.

A. V. Shevchuk (RO VORDI) will highlight the topic of alternative and additional communication for non-speaking children.

E. D. Ustinov (teacher-psychologist, ABA-instructor) will present the home game as a tool for the development of speech and social interaction.

T. M. Emelyanova (pedagogical psychologist, behavioral specialist) will help parents cope with anxiety and accept the peculiarities of the child’s development.

The conference will be held online on the Zoom platform. The connection link will be sent to the participants on the eve of the event.
