In Smolensk, the keys to 24 new school buses for 15 municipal districts of the region (Veligi, Roslavl, Smolensk, Safonovsky, etc.) were handed over. The purchase of transport is carried out on behalf of President Vladimir Putin within the framework of the federal program, designed until 2030, and the People’s Program “United Russia”.
This year, 53 buses (24 GAZ and 29 PAZ) are supplied to the region at the expense of federal funds to service 465 school routes, along which about 4,500 children travel. All new transport meets safety standards and is equipped with GLONASS system, tachographs, flashing beacons and seat belts. The buses will be on the routes this year.
