In Sochi after record rain eliminate flooding and fallen trees

In Sochi, a record amount of precipitation fell per day - more than 100 mm. According to weather forecasters, the peak of the cyclone has already passed, and by midnight the rain should completely stop.

There have been several reports of falling trees. The consequences are already being addressed. Water has also accumulated in urban areas. Brigades of MUP "Vodostok" work in all areas and gradually remove flooding on roads and low-lying areas.

Authorities said that the city's infrastructure is working normally, public transport runs smoothly, and the water level in the rivers does not cause concern. The situation is monitored by the operational headquarters under the leadership of the head of Sochi Andrey Prosuknin.
