Sochi hosts interregional forum on youth crime prevention

In Sochi, on the basis of gymnasium No9 named after N.A. Ostrovsky, an interregional forum “Connection of Generations” was held, dedicated to the prevention of offenses and neglect among minors. This was reported in the city administration of the MIA.

Participants of the event were police officers, representatives of public organizations, the veteran community and the resort administration. The main attention was paid to the development of mentoring and the interaction of educational institutions with law enforcement agencies.

The head of the police department of Khostinsky district, Anatoly Zhuklin, stressed the need for family, school and police to work together to prevent juvenile crime.

During the forum, representatives of the Saratov region shared their experience in the development of the Young Friend of the Police movement, which unites more than 17,000 participants. Sochi public activists spoke about the role of museums and libraries in the education of young people.

In addition, the participants were shown a documentary film “Do not get online”, dedicated to threats on the Internet and the protection of adolescents from criminal attacks.

The event ended with the performance of the vocal team “On the Volga Frontiers” from the Saratov region.

Earlier it was reported that for a week in Sochi in an accident killed two people, another 15 were injured.
