In Sochi replaced almost twice as many worn-out heating systems than planned

In Sochi, the preparation of the heat farm for the heating season has been completed. According to MUP "STE" on October 22, all boiler houses, heat stations and pumping stations of the city were prepared for the winter, and the plan to replace dilapidated pipes was exceeded.

There are 86 boiler houses, 18 central heat points and 19 pumping stations in operation. Hydraulic tests and ongoing repairs were carried out on all 386.9 km of heat networks.

Instead of the planned 4.3 km of worn-out pipes, specialists replaced 6.9 km. The upgrade of thermal insulation also exceeded the plan: work was carried out on almost 1.3 km of networks with the planned 188 meters.

In addition, five heat exchangers and 28 units of new pumping equipment were installed at the facilities.

Last week, utilities eliminated emergency situations on the streets of Gagarin, Novoselov and Matsestinskaya, as well as in the alley Construction. The workers updated the shut-off valve, completed the installation of the expansion tank in the boiler room No. 11L and replaced the automation with boiler rooms No. 5L and No. 8L.

Infrastructure preparation should ensure stable operation of the heat supply system in winter.
