In Stavropol opened a conference on psychiatry

In the Stavropol Regional Psychiatric Hospital No1, the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the World Mental Health Day began its work. The forum brought together researchers from major scientific centers of Russia, as well as psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists working in practical medicine.

The organizer was the Stavropol Regional Clinical Specialized Psychiatric Hospital No. 1 with the support of the Ministry of Health of the UK and the regional branch of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland”.

The first plenary session was devoted to modern strategies for the diagnosis and therapy of mental illness. In the work of the sections, specialists from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Volgograd and other regions considered reviews of scientific discoveries, issues of biophysics of mental processes, opportunities and limitations of artificial intelligence, as well as problems of bioethics.

Participants will also discuss comprehensive assistance to veterans of the SVO and their families, and trainings will be held for social coordinators. Specialists from other regions use the online conference format.
