In Suojärvi in a fire in a residential building injured three people

On the evening of October 4, Suojärvi emergency services received a report of a fire in a wooden house on Victory Street. The smoke signal arrived at the desk at 19:04.

As a result of the incident, two women and one man were taken to the local central district hospital with burns of varying severity. The fire damaged the floor covering and the wall in the kitchen.

Seven firefighters were involved to fight the flames. During the operation, rescuers brought one woman out of the smoke-filled room, and also carried out work to dismantle the burned structures. According to specialists of the State Committee of Karelia for Safety, the cause of the emergency was the careless use of combustible liquids.
