In Taganrog close four crossings through the railway track at the station

At the station "Taganrog-Passenger" will close four pedestrian crossings over the rails. Svetlana Kambulova, head of Taganrog administration, commented on the situation on October 11.

According to the investment program of Russian Railways, by the end of 2026, the crossings from Initiative Street will be closed with a barrier.

Passages from Initiative Street will cease to work until the end of 2026. During this time, railway workers will install a protective fence around the perimeter.

- The goal is to exclude people on the way and prevent accidents, Kambulova said.

The part of the population that uses the crossings still flooded the administration with requests to leave the passages. According to citizens, it is long and inconvenient to bend the line, and the only crossings opposite the station are not enough.
