The prosecutor's inspection revealed serious violations in the work of the boiler house serving one of the apartment buildings in the village of Builder. The cause of the emergency was overheating, which led to equipment failure. Because of the accident, residents were left without hot water for a period exceeding the permissible standards.
As a result of the proceedings, the supervisory authority initiated bringing the resource supplying company to administrative responsibility. The organization was fined 30 thousand rubles under the article on violation of the regime of providing the population with utilities.
However, the prosecutor’s office did not stop there. To protect the rights of residents, the department sent a lawsuit to the court demanding to oblige utilities to ensure the supply of hot water of proper quality in full.
