In the Tambov region 1947 people got sick with SARS in a week

In the Tambov region there is a seasonal increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections. This is reported by the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor.

According to operational monitoring, for the week from 5 to 11 October, the number of cases decreased by 8% compared to the previous week, but 6% higher than the same period last year. The incidence rate was 20.15 per 10 thousand population. The proportion of adults among patients is 51%.

The increase in morbidity is primarily associated with contacts with infectious patients, including at home. According to the results of studies, viruses of non-influenza etiology predominate in circulation, influenza viruses did not stand out.

To date, 132,599 residents of the region have been vaccinated, including 30,523 children.
