A planned technical inspection of the emergency warning system will take place in the region today
Today, a planned technical inspection of the emergency warning system will be held in the region. This is reported by GU EMERCOM of Russia in the Tambov region.
From 10:40, street sirens and loudspeakers will be turned on for a minute - residents will hear the signal "Attention to everyone!" A little later, from 10:43 to 10:44, on the air of federal television and radio channels, a voice notification will sound that the warning system is being checked.
Rescuers ask Tambov residents to treat what is happening calmly: the alarm is training, there is no real threat. There is no need to panic and take any action.
If you hear a siren, it is recommended:
- not to panic;
turn on any available tv or radio;
listen to the official message until the end.
The Ministry of Emergencies emphasizes that such checks are carried out regularly to ensure the operability of the equipment in the event of a real emergency.
