In the Tambov region, women pulled up a scam with apartments of pensioners for 16 million rubles

The Prosecutor’s office of the Leninsky district of Tambov approved the indictment in the criminal case against three members of the organized group. They are charged with fraud and legalization of property acquired as a result of a crime.

According to the investigation, in the period from 2024 to 2025, the participants of the criminal group made real estate transactions, drawing up fictitious contracts for the sale of residential premises belonging to the elderly and single people, without their knowledge and participation. We are talking about three apartments with a total value of more than 16 million rubles.

In order to conceal crimes and give the transactions the appearance of legality, apartments were re-registered for third parties who were not aware of the criminal intentions of the accused. The total amount of damage was more than 16 million rubles.

Earlier, the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Tambov region also completed the investigation of this criminal case. The property rights of the two legal owners of the apartments have now been restored.

The criminal case was sent to the Leninsky district court of Tambov for consideration on the merits.
