In Tatarstan, the office of the Ushkovs was restored

In Mendeleevsk, the Ushkov Office, an object of cultural heritage, was restored, Tatar-inform news agency reports.

The building will open a local history museum of the Bondyuzhsky plant, present the life of the village during the stay of Dmitry Mendeleev.

All rooms are devoted to the history of factories, the daily life of the village, the life of workers, said acting director of the local history museum Maria Kharitonov. Authentic elements have been preserved, in some halls Metlach tiles have been lying for 150 years.

The hall dedicated to Mendeleev is also preserved: it tells how the city continues the tradition of remaining a city of chemists. This is the hall of the factory laboratory where Mendeleev worked.
