In Tatarstan launched the delivery of mail drones

In Tatarstan, a pilot project for the delivery of mail using drones was launched. The first test flights of drones for the transportation of mail began in the Almetyevsk zone. The head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs of the Republic Ilya Nachvin announced this initiative at the Kazan Digital Week forum, noting that it is a continuation of the order of Rais Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to develop a low-altitude economy.

The project is implemented jointly with the Russian Post and is designed to make logistics more economical by eliminating the use of cars and related fuel and maintenance costs.

The Kazan Digital Week International Forum will be held in Kazan on October 29-31. This year, more than 21.7 thousand people from 76 countries of the world take part in it. More than 170 events are planned within the framework of the forum, and the exposition is formed by over 250 Russian and foreign companies and startups. The key direction of the program is the development and application of artificial intelligence technologies to stimulate the development of various sectors of the economy
