In the Tyumen region in Tobolsk, in October 2026, the Tobolsk City Court conducted a large-scale educational program for young people: for a month, students of seven classes of local schools got acquainted with the work of the court, attended open sessions and talked with judges to form an objective view of justice.
The program included excursions, observation of the consideration of civil and criminal cases, as well as meetings where the guys saw the interaction of all participants in the process - from the judge and the secretary to the lawyer and the convoy staff. An important role in demonstrating the work of the court was played by Nadezhda Vasilievna Mochikhina, deputy head of the OSW in Tobolsk, Tobolsk and Vagai districts, who showed schoolchildren how bailiffs ensure order in the court building.
Among the highlights are the interview of ninth-graders of school No. 7 Anna Fateeva, Alexandra Khlistova and Angelina Pomeditite with the chairman of the Tobolsk city court Andrei Vladimirovich Lobanov; following the results of the conversation, the schoolgirl edited a video for the contest of media teams. At the same time, the practice took place in the court: Veronika Gerasimova, a student of Tyumen State University, watched meetings in various categories of cases for a week, and ninth-grader Ivan Makeev, within the framework of the project “Mayor’s Units”, worked in the court in the direction of “archivators”, showing discipline and diligence.
