In Tula, eight former boarding school students received apartments
this Wednesday, October 28, in the department of accompanied accommodation "House of my capabilities" eight former boarding school students received keys to their own apartments

on October 28, eight former boarding school students received keys to their own apartments in the department of accompanied accommodation “House of My Possibilities”. They were put in a queue for housing during their stay in boarding schools, the press service of the Ministry of Social Protection told MK in Tula.
The keys to the future newcomers were presented by Anastasia Chernysheva, Deputy Head of the Department for the Organization of Guardianship, Guardianship and Housing of the Department for the Organization of Assistance to Family and Children of the Ministry of Social Protection.
One of the recipients of housing is Svetlana Mityushkina. A little over a year ago, she moved from a boarding school to the "House of My Possibilities." During this time, the girl learned to run a house, plan expenses and independently cope with everyday affairs. She moves freely around the city, she makes an appointment with doctors, knows how to organize leisure and regulate her emotional state. Svetlana participates in the life of the department, helps others and is distinguished by responsibility and hard work. She had already prepared for the move and set aside money for the arrangement of the apartment.
In the accompanying accommodation department, young people with disabilities learn the skills necessary for independent living. Own housing becomes the next step: it allows you to apply the acquired skills in practice and gradually equip everyday life at your discretion.
The Tula Regional Center for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons also provides a semi-stationary form of receiving services. In this case, a person attends classes during the day, studies and communicates, and in the evening returns home.
You can find out about regional social support measures by calling the hotline 129. For advice on rehabilitation services, please contact 8-800-200-52-26.
We will remind, earlier "MK in Tula" told about the digital assistant "Max" on the portal "Public Services", which helps orphans to deal with issues of obtaining housing. The service is available to residents of the region up to 23 years old: just ask a question in a chat to get the necessary information and go to the design of the service. For minors who are not recognized as fully capable, documents are submitted by their legal representatives.
