Tula launches public discussions on tobacco ban zones

The city administration of Tula signed a decree approving the Procedure for public discussions of draft municipal legal acts to determine the boundaries of adjacent territories, where retail trade in tobacco products or nicotine-containing products, hookahs and devices for consumption of nicotine-containing products is not allowed.

The document was developed in accordance with the federal laws on the general principles of the organization of local self-government, on the protection of citizens' health from the effects of tobacco smoke, the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 7, 2026 No. 1130, as well as the decision of the Tula City Duma of September 30, 2026.

Public discussions will be held publicly and openly. The organizer is the Department of Economic Development of Tula City Administration. Discussions are held by posting a draft legal act and notification on the official website of the administration in the section "Activities" - "Consumer market" - "Public discussions".

The term of public discussions is 15 calendar days. Proposals can be submitted in writing to the address: Tula, St. Soviet, 112, 2nd floor, cab. No 5, or send to e-mail uer@cityadm.tula.ru.
