In Tula ended the gastronomic festival "Levshin 2"

In Tula ended the gastronomic festival "Levshin 2.0 26", which last weekend brought together on the street Metalists fans of Russian cuisine, craftsmen and guests from different parts of the country. The results of the event were announced by Governor Dmitry Milyaev.
The historical center of the city during the festival turned into a large Russian refectory. Visitors could get acquainted with dishes cooked on open fire and in the oven. On the menu were pies, porridge, as well as various options for treats made of meat and fish.
Chefs from all over Russia, artisans and guests from 11 regions took part in the event. The main topic was the creative rethinking of the recipes of Vasily Levshin, a native of the Tula land. Thanks to this, the festival united gastronomic discoveries, acquaintance with the history of domestic cuisine and folk crafts.
The program included not only tastings. One of the participants of the festival activities was the volleyball players of the Tulitsa team. Athletes tried different dishes and tried to determine their names by taste. They were able to guess several options. The events were watched by spectators who supported the participants.
As noted by Dmitry Milyaev, such events help to attract guests to the region and develop the tourism industry, including in the off-season. The work in this direction is supported by the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”.
The festival in this format was organized for the first time by the Agency for Tourism Development of the Tula Region and the Association “Street Food of Russia”. According to the governor, the interest of visitors allows us to expect that the event will continue.
As previously wrote “MK in Tula” unmanned danger in the region canceled about 7 hours ago.
