In the Tula region handed over four homes for displaced persons from emergency housing

In the Don and Novomoskovsk of the Tula region, four apartment buildings were commissioned to relocate residents from emergency housing. The new apartments will receive 360 people, told “MK in Tula” in the press service of the FRT.

And then added that this will free from residents another 6.7 thousand square meters of unsuitable housing stock.

Here it should be clarified that the program is supervised by the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the operator is the Territorial Development Fund (FRT). According to its General Director Vasily Kupyzin, since 2025, the region has resettled 180 thousand square meters of emergency housing and improved living conditions for 9 thousand people. In terms of the volume of work performed, the Tula region ranks second in the Central Federal District.

Another apartment building is being built in the village of Skuratovo in Tula. It is planned to relocate 390 people from emergency housing with a total area of 6 thousand square meters.

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the region - Minister of Construction Igor Kazyonny noted that apartments with clean finishes will allow newcomers to settle down without additional repair costs. According to him, the regional authorities strive to create comfortable conditions for residents, fulfilling the tasks set by Governor Dmitry Milyaev.

The program of resettlement of emergency housing has been operating in Russia since 2008 on the initiative of the President. Since 2025, it is part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” reported on the change of tariffs for housing in apartment buildings of Tula. The decision was signed by the head of the city administration on September 30, 2026. The new prices apply to houses where the owners have not determined the method of management or the amount of maintenance fees. The cost of services will depend on the number of storeys, improvement of the building and the availability of engineering systems.
