In Tutaev, the driver-drinkers took the “Chrysler”

At the request of the public prosecutor, the court confiscated a Tutaev resident’s car, which he was driving while intoxicated. This is reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s office

As follows from the materials of the case, in July 2026, the 36-year-old driver of the Chrysler was stopped on Komsomolskaya Street in Tutaev. The driver, by all indications, was drunk. Medical examination confirmed the state of intoxication.

Since the same man was already brought for drunk driving in administrative order in May 2026, a criminal case was initiated against him under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a car in a state of intoxication by a person subjected to administrative punishment).

The court, having considered the circumstances of the case, found the drunk driver fully guilty and imposed a punishment of 120 hours of compulsory work with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving vehicles for 2 years 6 months. The car "Chrysler Voyager", on which Tutaev rolled intoxicated, confiscated in the state revenue.
