In the Tver region compensated for the dumping of liquid waste on the soil

In the area of the village of the Kalinin district, the fact of violation of legislation in the field of waste management was revealed, the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Tver region told.

An employee of the Ministry recorded the dumping of liquid waste from a KAMAZ car directly onto the soil, outside a place specially designed for waste accumulation.

The Ministry of Natural Resources established the vehicle and its owner, took soil samples from the contaminated site, calculated the amount of damage caused to the environmental object. On the basis of prepared materials and evidence, the owner of the vehicle was sued for damages.

The court granted the claims. At the moment, the damage caused to the environment is fully compensated by the vehicle owner.
