In Ulyanovsk, the perpetrators of the accident will be forced to pay for the repair of downed fences

At once on four sections of Ulyanovsk streets, road workers had to restore pedestrian fences after accidents that occurred over the weekend.
The consequences of road accidents were eliminated by specialists of the municipal institution “Right Bank”. Over the weekend, cars damaged fences in various parts of the city, including busy intersections. Such structures separate sidewalks from the roadway and help organize the safe movement of pedestrians.
Repair was required at the intersection of the Moscow highway with Olympic Avenue, as well as near the house No. 24 on Zarechnoy street. Two more sites were located at the intersections of the Creators Avenue with Tupolev Avenue and Tupolev Avenue with Aviastroityi Avenue.
At all four facilities, workers restored damaged fence elements. Thus, sections of urban infrastructure damaged by car collisions were put in order again.
However, they do not plan to pay for the consequences of accidents at the expense of municipal funds. As reported in the MBU “Right Bank”, the cost of damaged materials, structures and repair work has already been calculated. These costs will be collected from the perpetrators of road accidents. Specific amounts have not yet been announced.
The consequences of an accident are not always limited to damage to cars. Even if the accident is without casualties, hitting the road infrastructure may require additional costs for the restoration of urban property. At the same time, damaged pedestrian fences before repair can create additional risks for traffic participants.
