In Ulyanovsk approved the subject of protection of the object of cultural heritage of local importance "House of residential" of the early XX century. The building is located on St. Andrew the Blessed, 15, formerly Engels Street.
The location of the house, its spatial composition, architectural and structural characteristics, as well as the design of the facades were protected.
The complex consists of three adjacent buildings. The true combined volume is formed by two two-storey buildings, forming the letter A in plan. The eastern and western volumes have a rectangular shape and end with cornices, pediments and risalites.
The architectural solution of the main facade of the eastern part is made in eclectic forms using Art Nouveau techniques, the western part also in eclectic forms. The subject of protection included the composition of facades, window openings, risalites, attics, shoulder blades, cornices, frieze and other decorative elements.
Separately, the preservation of the eastern volume balcony with metal fencing, as well as elements of the entrance group and window decoration is fixed. For the western part, the symmetrical composition of the main facade in six light axes is protected.
The list of protected characteristics includes roofing of the combined volume. It is made of a metal sheet connected in folds.
