In Valdai began construction of lighting on the streets of Chekhov and Kirov

In Valdai, the construction of a new street lighting line began on the streets of Chekhov and Kirov. This was announced by the head of the Valdai district Yuri Stade in the social network “Vkontakte”.

“This is an important step for the comfort of residents: good lighting is not only cozy evening walks, but also peace of mind for children and safety on the road,” he said.

Preparatory work is underway at the sites: specialists mark the route of the cable laying and prepare places for the installation of new supports. It is planned to install modern energy-efficient lamps - they will provide uniform illumination of the roadway and sidewalks, while economically consuming electricity. The supports will be made of durable metal with anti-corrosion coating - so they will last longer even in the humid Valdai climate.

Work is being carried out in stages. The project is being implemented as part of the district improvement program – it is also supported by local residents: earlier in public discussions, many noted that these streets are especially in need of high-quality lighting.
