The meeting of the working group condemned the implementation of measures to transform the network of educational organizations in the Welsh district. And specifically, the question of combining two city schools - No. 2 and No. 3, and Kuloi schools - No. 15 and No. 90.
The basis for carrying out activities is the reduction in the number of children. On average, the decline is projected until 2030 and 2031: the number of children of school and preschool age is reduced by 400 people annually. Therefore, all planned activities are aimed primarily at the effective use of budget funds.
At the meeting of the working group, several options for unification were presented. The issues, pros and cons of different forms were discussed. The heads of the institutions were instructed to bring this information to the labor collectives and provide a reasoned opinion.
The issue is important, serious and strategic, because all four educational institutions have their own history and traditions, and it is crucial to preserve this. The next meeting will therefore give serious consideration once again to the form in which these institutions will continue to operate.
Since the measures are scheduled for 2027, decisions on the form of reorganization should be made in December 2026, and a financial and economic justification should be presented at the meeting of the working group and all legal issues should be considered.
