In the Vitebsk region starts the second stage of the heating season

In the Vitebsk region today, October 7, officially begins the supply of heat to the housing stock, the correspondent of sb.by.

The authorities said that from October 7, the heating will be gradually connected to residential buildings, dormitories, universities, colleges, theaters, swimming pools and city-wide baths. Today, the heat will enter the housing stock of the regional center, Orsha and Orsha district.

In other areas of the Vitebsk region, heat supply to residential buildings is also actively launched from the second week of October. The connection schedule is determined by local district executive committees, based on temperature standards. Decisions are made promptly: according to the new rules approved in Belarus, for the start of the heating season, the average daily air temperature should remain at +8 ° C and below for three days (previously five days were required).

The authorities specified that if the outside air temperature rises above +10 ° C, the systems will go into heating mode - this is necessary to avoid overheating of the premises.

Recall that the first stage of objects — kindergartens, schools, hospitals, clinics, museums and libraries — began to heat up on September 24. Usually, heating systems in all residential buildings of the city take from 3 to 5 days to swell and fully adjust.
