In Volgograd awarded the finalists of the photo contest “Travel!”
The results of the fourth regional photo contest “Travel!” were held on the central embankment
According to the regional Center for Tourism Development and International Cooperation, this year the competition broke a record for the number of participants - the jury considered 1,044 works in seven nominations. For a month and a half, from July 31 to September 13, residents and guests of the region shared photos taken during trips around the region. The best were determined by the competition committee.
In the nomination “Keepers of traditions” first place was taken by Olga Zaitseva. In the section “Memory of generations” won Victoria Ekimenko, in “Architecture and sights” – Pavel Storchilov. The leader in the nomination “Landscape” was Sergey Poproshaev, in “Family Travels” – Daria Trubacheva. The best picture in the category “Bright emotions of the holiday” was presented by Vladimir Nasypany, and in the nomination “Gastronomic tastes of the Volgograd region” – Lev Izustkin. In the additional nomination “Audience Choice Award” according to the results of the popular vote, the photo of Olesya Kamennova was recognized as the best. The winners and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable prizes, as well as a walking tour along the central embankment of Volgograd.
The regional photo contest “Travel!” is held to promote the tourism potential of the Volgograd region and popularize the brand “Made in the Volgograd region” among Russians and foreign travelers. The event is implemented within the framework of the national projects “International Cooperation and Export” and “Tourism and Hospitality”.
