In the Volgograd region removed 15 landfills on agricultural land

The liquidation of landfills was reported in the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia. The department gave an example: in August 2026, a landfill of household and construction waste with an area of 360 square meters was found on farmland in Gorodische district. Land owners were given orders to remove garbage and return the land to agricultural circulation.

A second survey was conducted in September. It showed that the violation was eliminated: the landfill was eliminated, and the land is again suitable for agricultural activities.
