In Vologda plan to create a taxi fleet of electric cars

The head of the regional capital Sergey Zhestyannikov met with the founder of the project “Zacharika.RF” Alexei Logantsev. The parties discussed the development of charging infrastructure for electric transport in the city.

In the Vologda region there are more than 60 charging stations, including 32 in Vologda. The mayor noted that electric cars are cheaper, more reliable and more environmentally friendly than fuel cars. The demand for hybrid cars among Vologda residents has increased.

On behalf of the governor of the region, the implementation of a project to create a municipal taxi park is being considered. All cars will be branded. They can be used by residents and tourists themselves. Various options are being considered, including the purchase of electric cars and hybrid cars.
