In Voronezh seller of unmarked electronic cigarettes fined 700 thousand rubles

The Voronezh court imposed a fine of 700,000 rubles on a local resident in the case of trade in unmarked nicotine-containing products. This was reported in the press service of the SU IC in the Voronezh region.

According to the investigation, the man purchased a batch of electronic cigarettes, liquids for them and conventional cigarettes with fake or non-compliant labels in July 2025. He sold the goods through three trading pavilions.

During the investigative actions, more than 15 thousand units of products worth 25.4 million rubles were seized from the convict.

The actions of the man qualified under paragraph 6 of Art. 171.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - the acquisition, storage and sale of tobacco and nicotine-containing products without mandatory labeling in an especially large amount. The article provides for up to six years of imprisonment.

Earlier in Novovoronezh, a similar case was revealed: the 32-year-old entrepreneur traded unmarked electronic cigarettes and liquids in the pavilions on Pervomaiskaya and Alenovskaya streets.
