In Voronezh since the beginning of the year evacuated more than 260 abandoned cars

Since the beginning of 2026, more than 260 abandoned cars have been removed from the streets and courtyards of Voronezh. About half of them have already been taken from specialized parking lots, having previously reimbursed the costs of evacuation and storage. This was reported on October 9 in the city administration.

Abandoned cars are identified by district officials. First of all, attention is paid to transport, which interferes with the passage of other cars or cleaning. After the discovery of the car, information about it is placed on the website of the city hall and in the newspaper “Bereg”, and on the car itself a notification is left for the owner.

The owner has 14 days to remove the vehicle. If during this time the car remains in place, it is sent to a special parking lot. You can pick up the car after paying the costs associated with its movement and storage.

To date, 130 vehicles have been returned to the owners. About 50 cars are planned to be disposed of by the court, the work with the rest continues.

Part of the transport that can be restored is sent to the needs of a special military operation. The soldiers have already handed over four cars, four more are planned to be sent in October. The most popular cars of UAZ and Niva brands, as well as minibuses.
