In Voronezh, OCG participants will be convicted for 3.5 kg of heroin and 415 g of methadone

The Prosecutor’s office of the city of Voronezh approved the indictment in the criminal case against five members of the organized group. They are charged with an attempt to illegally sell drugs using the Internet, organized by a group, on a large scale.

According to the investigation, from May to December 2025, an organized group operated on the territory of Voronezh, planning the contactless distribution of drugs through stashes. Large consignments of prohibited substances came to the city: the group members took them, packaged them into small packages and transferred them to accomplices for further sale.

The criminal activity was stopped by police officers when they tried to sell another consignment of drugs. During the personal search of the defendants and searches at their places of residence, 415 g of methadone and 3.5 kg of heroin were seized from illegal trafficking.

The criminal case was sent to the Railway District Court of Voronezh for consideration on the merits.
