In Voronezh, the Criminal Code was fined for an elevator that did not work for 8 months

The management company "Service Line" will pay a fine for inaction during the repair of the elevator in the house No. 25b/4 on Marshal Odintsov Street. The lift has not worked since May 2025, the press service of the regional GZHI reported on Thursday, October 8.

According to the inspection, the elevator was repaired only in February 2026. The GZHI inspector revealed facts of inaction on the part of the management company: the Criminal Code did not take timely measures to restore the lift.

In May 2026, an official of ServiceLine was fined 98 thousand rubles. The decision of the GZHI was left unchanged, it entered into legal force.

Earlier, in September, it became known about a similar situation in Voronezh: in a 13-storey building on Moskovsky Prospekt, elevators did not work for more than two months. The devices were replaced by new ones, but it was almost impossible to test them in work.
