The remains belong to soldiers of the 23rd Army of the Leningrad Front. They died in late June - early July 1944 during the liquidation of the bridgehead of the Finnish troops on the right bank of Vuoksa.
The personal data of one of the fighters was established. This is Junior Sergeant Kozhanov Ivan Prokofievich, born in 1922. The descendants of the deceased hero were also found. His nephews live in Novosibirsk, they will be given personal belongings of the fighter.
